The Fundación Regeneración Biocultural is born. We walk with Kogui, Wiwa and farming communities of the Sierra Nevada: no itinerary, no clients.

CUCACO starts operating as a travel agency. Tourism was never the starting point: it is one more way to sustain work that already existed.
The territory is not a product.
It is a living being, with its own memory, its own pulse and its own way of healing.
The communities are the reason CUCACO exists, not the other way around.
We don't ask them for folklore. We organize the journey around who they are.
Reciprocity, not just sustainability.
Sustainable means not causing harm. We want to leave the territory better than we found it.
